Resources

I decided to put together a list of resources that I find useful.  The list is a mixed collection of tools, tips and sites that a photographer or photo editor will (hopefully) find useful.

Stock Photo Agencies

  •  Stock Photography - Shutterstock is one of the largest stock photo agencies in the world and offers both subscription and on-demand images.  Their collection is massive with a diverse style of imagery.

Photography Forums

  • DPChallenge - This is the one of the first forums I joined back in 2004.  It has a friendly community and fun weekly challenges which will help you improve your Photoshop and photography skills.
  • MicrostockGroup - If you're looking to earn some income from your photography, stock photos is worth considering.  It certainly isn't a paved path to riches but it is a viable option like any other photography business direction.  This forum full of great information about the hundreds? of stock agencies and will help you decide which are worth submitting to.

Tools and Tips

  • Photoshop - I can't make a list of tools and resources without listing Photoshop itself.  This is a link to the official Adobe Photoshop product page.
  • Photoshop Tutorials from Adobe - At Photoshop.com, Adobe has put a lot of great resources together, including a good numbers of tutorials.  Certainly worth checking out.
